The Limited Fuel Proof Guarantee Eligibility Requirements and Procedure

Eligibility

The Limited Fuel Proof Guarantee program is available to North American trucking operations with a fleet size of 200 or more Class 8 trucks. In order to qualify for the limited Fuel Proof Guarantee, the fleet must complete the customer demonstration protocol outlined below. Participation in the customer demonstration requires a minimum of 30 trucks, model year 2002 or newer, based out of a single location. Drivers, routes, loads and other operating factors must be consistent throughout the 120-day customer demonstration period to validate fuel economy results.

The Limited Fuel Proof Guarantee

If, after the successful completion of all requirements outlined in the 120-day customer demonstration, the Valvoline and tiwi products do not result in a measurable gain in average fuel economy across the demo vehicles as a group, Valvoline and tiwi will remove their equipment from the vehicles and reimburse the customer for any and all incremental costs incurred specific to this test.

Incremental costs include the leasing/purchasing cost of the tiwi unit and any monthly subscription costs, the differential between oil changes performed with regular mineral-based and Premium Blue Extreme 5W-40 engine oil, and any cost difference between the gear oil used by the fleet and Syn Gard FE 75W-90.

This applies to the 30-vehicle customer demonstration fleet only, and will be based on documented fuel charges. Incremental costs do not include normal labor costs such as routine oil changes, but will include any extra oil/filter changes over and above standard fleet maintenance practices.
